We haven't got any variegated arisaema yet...just hoping to do so from
the tc process.&nbsp; If the variegation is a stable chimera, then tc
usually has no problems producing true to type offspring.&nbsp; If the
variegation is sectored, then reproduction through tissue culture is
difficult.&nbsp; The silver patterns are not really a true variegation an=d
therefore reproduce fine via tc.<br>

You are correct in that some species don't need tc unless you are
looking for really large numbers.&nbsp; After five years of tc, we have n=ot
seen a single mutant yet.&nbsp; I'm still looking for the white edged for=ms,
but no luck.&nbsp; Those with silver patterns do not show up as patterned
until they mature and have gone through two dormancies.<br>
