Re-emergence

Hello Diane. I think there are a lot of questions here.  How does the tuber
stay dormant over a period longer than one year?   What kind of evolutionary
history does this imply?   What experience have  others had  in this regard?
Would an exchange of observations be in order here?   Anyone who has grown
arisaemas for more than two years might have something interesting and to
the point.
