Dear Group,
I spent some time last evening, and I conclude that my "first" query must
be A. heterophyllum, though the "jack" reaches 28" pretty uniformly, and
I haven't found mention of the linear offset pattern, or the basal purple
striping, and the whole spadix seems green from emergence.
Re: the just emerged plant which I have seen in white form elsewhere, I
am clueless, but it is a smaller plant with the "jack: at about 15" and
just the one trifoliate leaf...very pretty.
A. candidissimum is fully open this morning.
Thanks for your help; hoping for seeds to share that will be correctly
labeled. NancyGreenwood, Wayne, Pa., zone 6a
