#$(@*$%$#_#%+@ !!!!!!!! Why call it flavum if it is beige? <sigh>.

I had heard rumours that most of the Arisaema flavums we have here are ss=p
abbreviatum. I hope so because I'd hate to see the abbreviated version i=f
what I have is the full sized one <grin>

So.... when are you sending me some seed of it then Ray? Please!????

I think they could colonise easily here. I threw the immature seed heads
into a corner of the back yard last year and a month or two later found
some evidence of seeds there.... so I think they're going to come up ther=e
too. They will be out of the way enough there to actually leave them, bu=t
that is about it. Maybe I'll be lucky and some of the seeds will produce
the first ever A. flavum with flowers teh size of A. candidissimum??? I
can dream can't I?

Thanks for the info on flavum ssp flavum Ray. At least if the flower is =a
bit bigger it won't look so dreadfully out of proportion. Cruel of you t=o
term it "ugly squared" though as I'll always think of that every time I s=ee
them now <grin>

Cheers.
