Paul - Flora of Bhutan describes leaflets as having filiform-caudate
tips of between 1 - 5 cm long but in my experience in the wild they are
usually much longer, often up to 4 inches as with yours. It makes for a
very attractive plant especially with beads of rainwater running off the
tips.
I will send you a pic of it in south-east Tibet complete with leeches -
they don't detract from the appeal of the plant, provided you see them
first!
