Paul,

Like A. triphyllum, A. consanguineum is a most diverse species. As you've
now discovered,
some forms have extended leaf and spathe tips that hang beautifully
enhancing the plants.
Others do not have this characteristic, at least to a marked degree.

One other species, A. taiwanense, has these extended tips, but it is not
as tall as A. consanguineum
and differs in other ways as well. Both are striking plants and it's no
wonder that you are impressed.
