Broadening the scope.

Dear Ray and Eric,
Congratulations on the new list. The AEG will be wonderfully served by its
own discussion group. I hope that it is not viewed as a detraction from
Aroid-L. The traffic there has not been unbearable and I hope the two lists
can coexist. I don't know that any Aroiders would have been put out by
detailed discussion of Arisaema on the aroid list but I assume they'd be
welcome here if they are interested in the genus.

The A. franchettianum saga continues--the germination is 100% and they are
growing nicely. No sign of life yet from the other seed but it can't be too
long in coming.
