too many messages

Dear AEG'ers,

Thank you all for the compliments. If you think you are receiving too many
massages, just set Arisaema-L postings to DIGEST and you will receive all
messages within one mail message once a day. I love this option. You will
get a list at the beginning of the digest, with all subjects; example:

Topics of the day:

1. Algae Control (5)
2. Lewisia rediviva and tweedyi (3)
3. Seeds from Russian Far East
4. Seed collection and importation from Turkmenistan (2)

The numbers between (backets) give the number of messages about this
subject. The only disadvantage is, you have to change the subject and remove
text from the digest message, when you want to reply to a message.

How to do this:

send a message to 'listserv at nic.surfnet.nl' with in the body the text: 'set
Arisaema-L DIGEST' (no subject needed).
