Dear Ray and others,
I also looked at the Kaichen page and e-mailed them for more info. I
got a reply the next day which is below.
I would be willing to collect all orders and spearhead a colletive order
for the group, but will need someone with an import permit. Anyone
interested in a collective order can e-mail me directly.
A few more questions also need to be asked.
"Dear Jan Renfroe;
Thank you for your email of June 26 and thanks for your suggestion
about
our homepage's order form.
1. The delivery time of our plants is in autumn, because this season
will be
pleasantly cool and excellent condition is ensured for plants during
carriage.
2. Our plants will be wrapped in kraft paper and then to be packed in
foam-lined strong cardboard. Size of containers is 66x54x34(cm). by
air.
3. We are accustomed to pay the deposit 20% of the total volume of trade
in
advance, the balance must be remittance within 5 days after goods are
despatched. Also I assume that you would like L/C payment or would be
partly made by personal ckecks, yes, can you let me know.
4. All materials must be labeled with genus and species name, and with
each
species of our plants phytosanitary certificate. Orchidaceae must be
with
"CITES". If possible, you will be sending the check with your import
permit to me for prior to shipment.
The following is a list of we have to offer. I hope it will be available
for
you. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate let me know.
Kind regards,
Chen Yi"
