[Ipe-discuss] Performance of LaTeX-compilation: Solution

Dear everyone,
thank you first of all for all the people, who have responded so quickly.
In case, someone will be interested in my solution in the future, for  
me it helped to simply download MikTeX, the pdflatex command was found  
automatically (if that's not the case for you, see  
https://otfried.github.io/ipe/80_advanced.html#troubleshooting-the-latex-conversion). All I had to do, was to disable the LaTeX-compilation in the GUI of IPE (under Help => Enable online LateX-compilation). Interestingly though, if I enable it back the duration of the compilation goes up to 16-20 seconds  
again.
