Hi everyone,
I've been using IPE for quite some time now, but over time the
performance of the LaTeX-compilation decreased.
In particular, whenever I want to create or change a mathematical
symbol, I am stuck in the (IPE:Waiting Compiling LaTeX)-Screen for
approx. 16-20 seconds. Since I'm using mathematical symbols quite
frequently, this gets kind of annoying. Moreover, selecting multiple
mathematical symbols to change them at once does not work at all. Is
anyone experiencing similar issues? And is there a way to get the
16-20 seconds down to say 2-3 or is waiting 16-20 sec every time just
normal?
Some background information on what I'm using (please don't judge me,
if its incomplete, I'm not an expert):
- Using (the latest) version (7.2.29) of IPE on a PC with Windows 11
Pro and the following processor:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8665U CPU @ 1.90GHz 2.11 GHz
- Using the online Latex compilation (https://latexonline.cc) (Using
Online-LaTex compilation might be the issue here, since uploading and
downloading data might take time. Unfortunately, I don't know how to
change it)
Moreover, I have not changed any settings in IPE. In particular, even
reinstalling IPE with default settings doesn't solve the problem.
If you have any suggestions on how I can solve that problem, I'd be
very thankful, if you could send your suggestions to

Best,
Henri Ortmüller
