[Ipe-discuss] ipetoipe markedview causing unwanted visual artefacts

Can the width of minipages be made adaptive so that when the content
changes, its width is automatically adjusted? This way, the width does
not need to be adjusted manually when it is too narrow.

Perhaps a flag can be added, so that if flagged, then the width is not
automatically changed - in case the cropping behavior is actually
desirable?

This will also maintain backward compatability to file versions before
say 7.1.10 where the cropping was not applied.

Just a thought - as the cropping can come as a surprise.
