[Ipe-discuss] Problem with Ipe GUI

It seems the problem is related to cairo:

 cairo-1.16.0 works, and cairo-1.17.2 is problematic.

The versions of other packages such as freetype and poppler, and Ipe 
itself do not seem to affect the symptom.
