This is a bug in 7.2.13: https://github.com/otfried/ipe-issues/issues/266

How did you install Ipe?   The sources and the Windows and MacOS binaries on bintray have been replaced by fixed versions, but I didn't rebuild all the Linux packages. 

I guess it's time for a new release!
