[Ipe-discuss] TeX Live and missing characters

Allowing the use of pdftex 1.4 (which is what ships with TeX Live 2007) in
Ipe seems to be an ongoing effort. Otfried has managed to sort out many
things by now, but some things still don't seem to work. As a result, I
am currently running a dual TeX installation that uses an older tex system
for Ipe (TeX Live 2005) and the current version for everything else.
Using the IPEPDFLATEX variable, this is very easy to set up. If I
remember right, the tricky part is to get hold of TeX Live 2005 if you
don't have it already.

Cheers,
Norbert
