[Ipe-discuss] newbe question on grid

Hi all,
 I am trying ipe and I want to draw a horizontal line  along two  grid
points.
-I click  "Automatic angular snap"
-I click  "Snap to grid" Now the pointer snaps to grid
-I  click "lines and polylines"
-I click on the grid first point... now it starts drawing a line...
...but it does not snap to grid points anymore, although "snap to grid" is
still on!

Is there something else I should be doing?
