[Ipe-discuss] IPE 6.0 pre26 running slow on linux

I think I've found the problem:
I just realized that all the files I tried to open were Ipe files
created in windows (same Ipe version). If I open up a new file, or one
that I created with Ipe in linux, everything works just fine.
But there is still something I don't understand going on: if I create a
new Ipe file in windows with just a little bit of text and open it in
linux, I don't have any problems -- I haven't gotten a chance to try
anything more complicated yet. So far I've only gotten this slowness
issue with 3 Ipe files that I created in windows awhile back -- not with
new ones that I have made to test the problem.
