Ipe 6.0 preview 14 is now available on the webpage (ipe.compgeom.org).

The reason for this quick new release is a serious (and stupid) bug in
preview 13, that stopped Ipe from opening any PDF document containing
bitmaps (image objects).

A few other bugs have been fixed, and I've added a new 'Templates'
ipelet that allows you to create and use templates (named objects
stored in a style sheet that can be referenced in the document).
Templates/reference objects had been implemented for a long time, but
so far there was no user interface to create or use them.

The most obvious use of this new feature is to make common backgrounds
for presentations. There is special support for this: if you create a
templated named "background", this template will automatically be
inserted on all newly created pages (and the ipelet allows you to
retroactively insert it on all pages of a document that do not yet
have it).

Enjoy,
  Otfried

--------------------------------------------------------------------

 * Changed display of grid as requested by Sariel Har-Peled.

 * Fixed bug #40 (atan2 DOMAIN bug on zero-length segments).

 * Changed to using dynamic Borland RTL (cc3250.dll)

 * Finally libipe is compiled as a DLL on Windows as well.

 * Fixed bug #28 again, differently, and hopefully really...

 * Disabled pasting bitmaps on Windows version - Qt crashes on certain
   bitmaps (perhaps GIF format bitmaps??)

 * Fixed serious bug that stopped Ipe from opening any figure
   containing bitmaps.

 * Fixed problem with templates not defined in current style sheet.

 * New 'templates' ipelet with simple functionality for making
   backgrounds for presentations.

 * Fixed bug #37 (Ipe now more accurately computes the bounding box
   stored in PDF output).

 * Added setting for infinite-edge length to qvoronoi ipelet, and
fixed a crash when it is called without any sites.
