Thank you Eric, for letting us know about your concerns re the Group. I
confess to being a member of the Facebook Group mentioned previously and
find it very useful. I'm not seeing the kind of concerns some have
mentioned, in that group, although Facebook can be pretty toxic outside of
the various groups I belong to. I get so many emails that they quickly
drop out of sight if not dealt with right away and I find that the Facebook
Group works better for me. The managing of the Seedex is a big load for
anyone to handle and has been a wonderful resource for the seedaholics
amongst us. I am sorry to hear that donations have dropped off. it may be
that there has been concern about the ability to get seed across borders
which may prevent some from taking part. I wonder if it makes sense for
members to indicate what seed they expect to have and deal directly with
those that want it. At least that would make a same country seed
exchange easier? No easy answers.
I do want to thank you for the efforts you have put in over the years. I
wish I had more success getting viable seed from my various species. The
only one that reliably makes seed is one of the early flowering
Consanguineum species.
Must get the tubers out of the fridge. This is the season.
