I posted some photos of a arisaema which one person has replied saying it might be griffithii and this clone does really well in our very mild wet winters. Low temperatures below 0 degrees C are rare here. Night temperature between 5 and 10 degrees Celsius are the normal in winter here

David: I can't grow it either. I assume it does not like the habitat here.

Could folks talk about culture for A. griffithii.  I’ve tried a few times, both in the garden and in pots, and can’t even get the darn thing out of dormancy.   I’ve used a soil less mix or a soil less mix where the tuber was surrounded by turface to increase drainage.  I usually hold off on watering until I see growth but as I said, can’t even get the darn thing out of dormancy.  Most Arisaema come out of dormancy in May in Atlanta so I know not to expect anything until well into the growing season.  Maybe it’s the heat.

Thanks
