[Arisaema-l] dueling Ar. urashima

Another image from the nursery, for today. We thought that these two looked like they were dueling it out with their whips!
enjoy. Here in Indianapolis, Ar. fargesii has started to show, Ar. taiwanense is up, all the Japanese jacks are up, Ar. candidissimum has started to show as well... still waiting for many of the Himalayan jacks to start showing. So far, Ar. intermedium is just starting as well as Ar. galeatum and numerous others.

On a last thought, we are quite confident that most species will do well in our zone 5 garden.... as far as we have been able to tell, it is not a hardiness factor but drainage that is the most critical. We are growing quite a few jacks not listed as hardy here and most are doing great in our sandy loam, which we amend around the jacks with stone and grower grit.
