Yes - there seem to be a few smaller species down south, but they're not ==
in the 
trade, and going down twice - once to locate & ID in flower, and agai=
n to collect 
seed - is not so easy to do. It's actually cheaper to fly down to Hong Ko==
ng for 
dinner than to travel to Shikoku or Kyushu.

A. amurense might be problematic here - these last few weeks have seen= =

temperatures between 33=BA~37=BA and I'm losing higher elevation plan=ts l=
ike there 
was a plague. I doubt a Hokkaido/Siberia native would thrive here.

Since Tokyo is becoming a tropical island, I was thinking more of coastal==
 
Chinese, SE Asian, or lowland Indian plants, but many thanks anyway for y==
