'Crossing Over' has a nice look about it. I'm hopeful for something inter=es=
ting from the
ciliatum x speciosum that took. I'm germinating the seed presently.

Last year I had an open pollinated sazensoo that had no male of its own k=in=
d & produced 7 seeds.
The only males of reasonable proximity to it were kishidae=2C sikokianu=m & =
serratum=2C Fuji form.
Only two germinated and they got some kind of damping off. That's as clos=e =
as I got to
an unintentional interspecific hybrid.
