Yes they may show virus discoloration.

I have some Candidissimum  in a flowerbed near home, two years ago
one plant
was showing a leaflet of different colour: pale green, the shape of
that area
made me think it was a virus, it was the first time after two years
from planting I saw
the large spots, the plant was healthy  ;  the same plants didn't
show any virus attack on 2007 and this year ,
I hope that tuber didn't die.
