Hi Carlo

I just double-checked in the garden and the only Pinellia that has bulbil=s is
cordata. I know that P. ternata also does, but I've manged to get rid of =it
(hopefully).

'Polly Spout' has none, nor do its parents, tripartita and pedatisecta. I
also grow peltata and see no bulbils on it.

'Polly Spout' clumps up quite well and sends out a few stolons, but no se=eds,
no bulbils.

Speaking of bulbils, beware of any species called "bulbifera". Dan Hinkle=y
was selling Cardamine bulbifera a few years back and it could have been a=nother
disaster if I hadn't taken prompt steps to obliterate it! He later apolog=ized
for selling it, but it was during a time when he became enthusiastic abou=t the
genus and didn't realize the potential problem.

Jim
