Hello there,
I have just joined the AEG and would like to introduce
myself.
My name is Neil Ramsden and I live on the East Coast of England just at
the mouth of the river Humber.
I have been growing Arisaema's for about eight years now, ( with limited
success I must admit ) and having seen the AEG pages on the internet I
thought that I would join to try and increase my knowledge of these
fascinating plants.
The hardiness zone where I live is zone 9, ( that's something I have
just found out as well ) and most of my plants I grow in pots in a cold
greenhouse. I have started to plant a few more in the ground over the
last couple of years to try to reduce the ammount that I am loosing to
rot, and so far this seems to be reasonably successful. Having said that
we haven't had any really cold winters over the last few years ( -7C is
about the lowest it has been ) so time will tell.
I look forward to hearing from other members of the group and hope that
in time I will be able to contribute as well.

Neil Ramsden
