Subject: Arisaema consanguineum - striped leaves
Mime-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" ; format="flowed"
I have a bit more information about the source of the seed of the
striped flower/striped leaves consanguineum whose picture I posted to
the Gallery a few days ago. It was from seed sent to the AEG by Eric
Gouda in 1998. My friend Carmen's plant has had striped leaves last
year and this. I received Gouda consanguineum seed the same year,
but my plants were all ordinary.
Does the source of the seed have striped leaves? Has anyone else had
stripes from the seedlings?
Gallery announcement message:
Grown from AEG seed by Carmen Varcoe in Victoria, British
Columbia, Canada. The leaves on the flower stem have the same strong
stripes as the flower. The top leaves are plain green. This is the
second year of flowering, and the striped leaves have been present
both years, and on all stems.
