Hi Jim
That has been my operating assumption. However, an orchid growing friend
told me that output declines dramatically over lifetime and suggested
a yearly replacement. Mine doesn't burn in the summer so I have taken th=is
as a two year recommendation.
I wish my ancient photography light meter were still operational--I had
it calibrated for footcandles...you'd think an observational astronomer
could do better at calibrating light flux.
Clear skies,
Al
