It seems that most of the scientific community does swallow it. Bertrand
Russel once said:
If the scientists all agree on one thing the opposite view is not
necessarily true.
Sorry but I think that your view is not necessarily true.

How can a tsunami be evidence for that we do not effect long term climate
changes???
I believed that the tsunami was evidence that certain governments were
unprepared to deal with large scale disasters.
That Bush should be guilty of earthquakes is in my view a too long shot.
However, it seems clear that he is trying to hinder scientific progress a=nd
a sound education.
To let religion and politics go into science is usually counterproductive.
It seems that Hoyle opposed Big Bang because he believed it would further
belief in creation. As far as Intelligent design is concerned it is easy =to
refute it on theological grounds"

I always believed that Kopernicus did that in his book that was published=in
1543. Also that Kepler - inspired by Copernicus - used the data collected=by
Tycho Brahe and changed from circular to elliptical orbits.

I am sure that you are aware that you cannot perform a controlled experim=ent
or measurement that determines the size of the universe. We have to rely =on
certain beliefs such as the constancy of the hubble constaht and the
constancy of the speed of light. Besides we can only deal with the "visib=le"
universe I. e. the part that does not expand away from us faster than lig=ht.
So if you can believe that we can determine the size of universe, (I do) =why
do you need controlled experiment when it comes to global warming??
I do agree that anecdotical "evidence" can be misleading in the extreme b=ut
Greenland ice cores are hardly anecdotical evidence.
All this is higly entertaining but is it really Arisaema stuff?
