In my opinion, thinking is not a bad habit.

How do you know that if you never look for it?

No! It is where the sender put it - just as this line is. 
It is far more readable if an answer to a specific statement is put
immediately after the statement than if all answers are heaped in one pla=ce.

That may reflect the structure of these clubs. It has definitely been
mentioned before. 

Quite often an answer only relates to a part of a message It is then
courteous by the answerer to delete the part that was not relevant.

Do you mean 'from' different people? If so; Do you mean that you send a
question and then the persons who answer, pool their answers by internal
correspondence and then send you all their answers in the same mail?????
That is mighty considerate of them.

I think that the list owner has voiced his opinion on the subject in the=
past.
