Wow.
I think most of us, as I just did, simply hit "reply" to respond to a
particular email and don't think much past that. Personally, I've never =had
to "sift through it all looking for the new messages". Isn't the newest
message right there, first on the email? Is there really a need for anyo=ne
to be monitoring it?
My partner and I belong to several online (vintage car) clubs using 4
different email addresses, another for ebay and I use this one for 2 plan=t
clubs - Arisaema-L and Aroid-L. Quite honestly, the size of anthurium
leaves bores me to tears and philodendrons as interesting as doorknobs. =I
have found that the "delete" button works very well. Anyway, I've never
seen anyone mention this as a problem in ANY of those clubs. If you find
this little bit of activity annoying, don't join the Imperial Mailing Lis=t.
That one generates more email in one day as this one does in a month - no
kidding.
Honestly, I'd rather have a chain of related emails in a single letter
rather than having to search back through the list looking for particular
questions and answers. Since I have far more questions than answers, I'd
rather have replies for different people in the same email, and delete th=e
rest.
And my saxatile is going to bloom after all.
Russell
