I recommend searching the Arisaema-L archives for "germinate" to see all
the discussions on this subject. Then

29 Seeds, Dr. Deno, and Me - Maroni from <http://floraPix.nl/Arisaema-L/=>
the documents available page using the name & password supplied when you
joined AEG. It's the last word in seed germination using an extension of
the "Deno Method".
Dr. Deno's books are inexpensive and a valuable source of specific
information on germinating seeds of many a genus.
My Seedex05 seeds are all up now. Germination rates so far are as follows=:
Arisaema candidissimum 73%
Arisaema consanguineum 86%
Arisaema tortuosum 17% *
Zantedeschia 'Pink Mist' 35% *
* just starting to germinate
These were simply cleaned in a detergent/water solution, dried, and place=d
in a commercial seed starting medium on a bottom watering device. The rat=es
were higher when I used the Deno method, but this is simplicity itself.
