One cannot provide an answer to this question, but it is reasonable to assume that plants genetically close to each other, such as Pedatisecta, produce hybrids more easily. If most hybrids mentioned are Japanese, it is because most species, one looked at in the wild, were studied by Japanese botanists, in Japan. Such a systematic study was never made in India, Thailand...
