Vegetative propagation of Arisaema ringens

Dixie,

In my experience, roots grow first, then shoots.
Ringens is an early riser, so spring division wouldn't be a good idea.

I believe the time to divide is in the fall after they've gone dormant.
It's probably the best time for all Arisaema division.
