Thanks Jim. I must've been through that book 20 x at least, and
somehow,I've never focussed on that portion.. I know I'm getting old when
that happens.

The very handy illustrated book North American Wildlife --Readers Digest
Press, cheap from www.half.com shows the range of Calla palustris going
from Alaska down through the Carolinas. So I wouldn't worry about that. .

I think Gene dug his up from near where he lives. Apparently nobody else
has it except for Tony Avent and his crew. where it is being propagated for
commercial purposes. If you feel that you should not send me some for
