I use a plastic syringe with a narrow piece of flexible tubing =

water method (without detergent) on the recommendation of Don Jacobs a =
few years ago, andit usually seems to work. The hardest part is to keep =
the water from leaking out of the bottom of the spathe, but tilting  it =
back and finger pressure helps.
