Addendum to previous message: The flavum var, A-55 is up 7 inches. Which
leads to a question: How are these plants to be measured? Is there a
convention.? the 7" (12.8 cm.) is the extent of today's growth + last
night's. The measurement is from the ground surface to the height of the
center of the outward radiation of leaves (not to the highest measurement
of the plant).
Incidentally, the leaf schema conforms to that shown in Gusman for Dochafa.
and, it has a small spathe. . I have no idea how much more it may grow,
but will measure it tomorrow and as it increases to its maximum. . At this
point the spathe is not yellow, and is only about 2cm long. Adam in
