The last snippets about A. tortuosum growth apply even here in the South
of England. It must be one of the fastest growing plants ever.
Paris will also stay very dormant after disturbance. Some P.violacea were
not doing very well because they were too dry but have sulked ever since being
moved to a 'more comfortable' spot.
Are lilies allowed space in this discussion group? They do fairly well here
under similar conditions to the above. Some of the American Frits also
flourish but
there was no mention of them at flowering time
