I usually give a brief shower of balanced fertilizer from the watering can
after a good soaking with regular water or rain. I do this selectively on
plants (Arisaemas, orchids) that are EXTENDING their growths. Once full
length/height are reached a shot of high phosphate/low nitrogen helps with
tuber/pseudobulb and root development.

Triphyllums, Arum italicum seeding. Sikokianum faded. Angustatum/amurense
fading, ringens still holding on. Speciosum poking up, Dracunculus vulgaris
in bud, and 1999 A-15 looking like a green dilitatum once again has huge
husky growth and bloom.
