Diane,

A. franchettii is not a legitimate Arisaema name. A. franchetianum Engl. =is
the closest, but I doubt if your plant is this species because its leaf
blades are 3-partite rather than radiate.

Your description is thorough and perhaps someone can ID it.
If not, Take pictures, have them scanned at your local photo shop,
send the files to Eric Gouda and he'll post them on the Arisaema ID Page.
That should get you a definitive ID.
