The iris groups have checked into this rather thoroughly (Gone to the US=DA
sites)  and made phone calls, as I have.  There are currently no
restrictions on importation of seeds or bulbs , and none are planned.  Th=e
outcry was so great  from hobbyists, NARGS, and small dealers that the US=DA
backed off of this ill-advised move.  It had been planned for January, bu=t
did not occur.  (This is my most recent information.  Check with the
USDA -- )  Lets them know we're watching.
