Diane,

A pot labeled A. peninsulae Silver Center AIK 149 Avent Feb '98 has one
plant also like the other two white-marked plants, but the leaf is a
darker green.

Sounds like one parent was A. peninsulae 'Silver Center'. Mendel says
that all offspring
will not inherit a particular trait.

Other Arisaema also exhibit variegation in some specimens AKA A. limbatum
v aequinoctiale.
A. sikokianum is also blessed with examples with more mottling than
usual.

Arisaema ID by leaf characteristics alone is not reliable. As Wilbert
Hetterscheid always
says, "You have to examine the naughty parts to be sure."
