Arisaema ringens is emerging in fruit; the infructescence is 2.5 cm tall ==
and the berries are lime-green, 2-3 mm in size - a perfectly =
fine-looking infructescence on a tuber that has just broken dormancy...I ==
expected a leaf or a flower, not fruit.

I looked at them again this a.m. and there are now 3, not 2, plants =
emerging as an infructescence...a pleasant outrage, thank you for your =
