Arisaema flavum multiplying like crazy....

Howdy All,

This might be a strange query, but I don't have enough knowledge to know if
this is normal or not............

A friend of mine (who is incidentally a member of this list) has an
Arisaema flavum in a relatively small pot (i.e not a huge tub or anything
like that. It grew in Spring as it should have and has been growing on
fine for a few months..... Now it has suddenly sent out 11 increases and
two of those are flowering (mine flowered something like 3-4 months
ago)..... with temperatures currently mostly in the mid 30s ('C) it strikes
me as a little strange for a plant that tends to grow in spring and then
basically die down in Summer/autumn.

So my question is is it normal, or has this particular ruber somehow got
"switched on" in some sort of way and gone ballistic. Either way it
certainly isn't a problem.. I just wish that mine would multiply that well
<grin>.

I just thought I'd ask. I hope no-one minds.

Cheers.
