<<<................................Will you germinate yours in the
paper towel or will you stratify them in a cooler first? My work with A.
triphyllum showed me that a 90 day cold/moist stratification process of t=he
ripe seed provided germination w/in 14 days when they were planted in soi=l
and put on a mist bench. I am assuming this technique will work well for
the sikokianum as well...?...

They went directly into paper towel after 3 days of soaking underwater,
with 1 - 2 changes of water a day.
Clean, washed fresh Ari seed from ripe berries generally is ready to
germinate immediately when the inhibitory compounds from the pulp are
washed off and soaked out (some seed sent to me took only 1 week). Fresh
triph seed (straight species) this fall though took about 4 weeks, no chi=ll
required.
