My experience with germinating Arums is that you need patience! Sowed =
either cold or warm, they take between two and six months to sprout. =
Five months seems to be the average. In the past two years I have =
germinated A. albispathum, A creticum, A purpureospathum, A italicum =
'Spotted jack', A italicum 'Cyclops', A concinnatum, A cyrenaicum, A =
pictum and many, many A italicum ssp italicum Mamoratum which need no =
help from me at all. They do it all by themselves by the thousands in =
the garden! There were of course many species which decided to rot =
rather than germinate :(

Deborah
