Anne,

I remembered correctly. Deni devotes a whole chapter to the chemistry
and toxicity of aroids (Ch. 10). The discussion of Raphides, Oxalic Acid,
Calcium Oxylate, and Trichosclereids is most inlightening, but not as
thorough as I would have liked. But, the book covers the world of Aroids
and one cannot dwell on such minutia and still get around the whole world.
There are some references though.

A. triphyllum is mentioned once, but the predominant text is on other
aroids.
