I've been growing them from seed for 6-7 years, mostly under lights, but =I
can't honestly say what the longest growth period has been.

It usually takes about 9 months for  full cycle of growth, but that inclu=des
3 months in the refrigerator as well as the dormancy period after the tub=ers
are brought back to room temperature. I'd guess that any thing over 3 mon=ths
of active growth would be somewhat unusual.

I do think that a good, long period of healthy growth has as much (or mor=e)
to do with the time from seed to flowering as the number of growth period=s,
and, obviously, the conditions provided, whether indoors or out, can affe=ct
this greatly.
