Hello MaryJane.....I hope I can help! Please don't plant corms 8" deep!!
just place them below the surface, so new buds(eyes) are at surface
line, or just poking out. They seem to "sink" themselves to their proper
growing depth. I am not sure where you are from, but was confused as to
why you would put them in the refrigerator.  My experience has led me to
beleive A's will do well in pots, for only one season.but not indoors!
and only in a greenhouse their first year. I would suggest an outdoor
bed, to promote growth.
