MJ - that's a toughie (what to do with emerging arisaemas in northern
climes...I cheat, because I have 3 minimum-heated houses at my disposal.

I think your only choice is to pot them up (just use a well-drained mix; I
use approx. 1 part super-coarse perlie to 2 or 3 parts MetroMix 510).
Water once, thoroughly, then try not to water again until roots have
formed (in any case, do not keep the pots soggy).  If you possibly can,
keep the pots in a cool place to slow down top growth as long as possible.

You probably knew all that already.....
